Granulocytic maturation:
Maturing granulocytes undergo sequential changes in the expression of key markers.
- CD117 and HLA-DR are progressively lost (CD117+ granulocytes highlighted in pink)
- CD13 is high in promyelocytes, then decreases in myelocytes, but increases until full maturation to neutrophils
- CD11b progressively increases
- Mature bands and neutrophils are characterized by expression of CD10 and CD16 (green circle)
