AML with biallelic mutation of CEBPA:
Typical immunophenotype for acute myeloid leukemia with biallelic mutation of CEBPA (see figures; blasts in red):
- Blasts often show homogenous expression of CD34, CD117, HLA-DR and MPO (bright).
- Expression of CD7 in almost all blasts.
- Variable coexpression of CD15 and CD64.
Some cases have variable expression of CD19 and /or CyCD79a.
Can have partial expression of CD56.
